Empire Awards Winners 2009

This Sunday,29th March,the Winners of the 2009 Jameson Empire Awards were announced and “The Dark Knight” displayed its dominance by winning 3 awards that night.

While our Slumdog Millionaire won just 1 award and it went to Danny Boyle for his outstanding contribution to British Cinema.

The superhero movie, which has collected two of this year’s Oscars, brought home Best Film, Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Actor for Christian Bale.
